LIBRARY TIP #1
The LIBRARY is a cool level, especially in the top level since it's just stacked with the special weapons. Nothing feels better than killing an opponent from above while they are in the lower (BASEMENT) area of the LIBRARY. These screenshots will make it easy for you to track down and kill an opponent in the lower level. You need to have a clear mental picture of the LIBRARY level layout for these pictures to make any sense. Explosive weapons are needed of course.
This is a great spot since there is a regeneration location and players will often pass through this room.
This area is very close to the first picture. Looking at Player 1, they are standing in the special weapon room and you can see the grate straight ahead. The grate from the first picture would be found to the right of Player 1 here.
You can torch this BASEMENT room though this spot. It's bit difficult getting there because of the secret door, but it's good to know about. As an alternative, Player 1 could stand in the long room with all the small glass rooms and be facing the weapon location (on the other side of this wall shown in the picture above). If you torch the wall and floor behind the glass where the weapon is, flames will fill the BASEMENT room also. In other words, you don't necessarily need to be in this exact spot shown here.
This long grate is can be used to kill players from either downstairs or upstairs. If you are using some Gameshark codes, you may have an explosive and be in the BASEMENT level. In that case you can actually lob explosives into the large square central room, especially when using Grenade Launchers!
