Comments:

This GoldenEye game video will give you an idea of the increased framerate when using an emulator versus a console. It's no contest. Close combat as witnessed in this video is really not pretty on console, but given the power of the PC, the level becomes very playable. Beautiful if you ask me. Nintendo 64 GoldenEye N64.

This might be thought of as too linear of a level for multiplayer, but it isn't. It is fantastic even without doors and objects. Enjoy the bullets flying in this GoldenEye game contest!

Some footage of us playing GoldenEye on the PC. Try the better quality video listed below first. Even with the emulator game lined out into a television, the viewable distances are tremendous. You can see clearly across levels where before you would see haze on the console.

Comments:

Same video as above, except this version is the best quality. You need Mpeg2 codec, but try it. This will show you the vivid difference between console and PC GoldenEye game . Of course this video cannot possibly capture the true brilliance of the graphics, but you get the idea.

goldeneye Title: GoldenEye game Tournament Footage 2000
Length: 5m17s
Weapon: Pistols
Comments: Yep, this is a game that I lost. It was very intense and was really close. Cam is a smart player and finished second overall in the tournament. It's really amazing to see the framerate with 2 player GoldenEye. It's very fast and honestly it holds up to todays shooters like Halo. Of course not the pretty shadows and cosmetics, but 2 player GoldenEye is perfect as is. You certainly don't need faster in a shooter game in my opinion.

nintendo 64 goldeneye Title: Quick 10 Kills
Length: 3m23s
Weapon: Golden Gun Fun
Comments:

My GoldenEye game site so I can brag right? haha. Okay, this was an amazing game though. I made 10 kills and the closest player at the end had 1. This was a 4 player game so 2 players had zero kills. We were playing the single screen setup as always which means you can't predict where players are. So part of luck was being at the right place at the right time. I hope you like it.

NOTE: you should increase the brightness on your video player before watching this.

goldeneye nintendo 64 game Title: Grand Central
Length: 30s
Weapon: All Rockets
Comments: If you haven't noticed, All Rockets is our absolute favorite GoldenEye game weapon. Basically it provides the best possible framerate with 4 players and you don't often run out of ammo. You can see here in this video where our favorite zone is.

Title: GoldenEye game Cavern FrontZone 4 Players
Length: 1m30s

Comments: Perfomance or framerate wise, this is incredible. It's flawless really. This video is of Zoinkity's Gameshark version of Caverns Frontzone where we had a blast using golden guns and rockets.

Title: Frantic
Length: 1m10s
Weapon: All Rockets
Comments: Yes Rare decided that 4 player Archives shouldn't be used. We agree to a certain point, but when you have All Rockets the framerate holds and it never freezes. Long live the Gameshark I say. In fact, this is the only weapon that we use with 4 player Archives. It's just crazy. Canister and glass and explosions!! Yes!! Oh, 4 players with All Snipers in LTK mode is decent. Heck even AR-33 + Proxies doesn't glitch too bad either. Stay away from weapons with high rates of fire with 4 player Archives.

LONG

Title: Accuracy? What accuracy?
Length: 1m10s
Weapon: All Phantoms
Comments: Yep, LTK mode we only use rarely, but when it comes to All Phantoms we use it. GoldenEye game Basement in this setting is a hoot because the damn weapon is so inaccurate. You have to love the sound of the Phantom though. We call this spray and pray.

LONG

Title: GoldenEye game Daisy Chain
Length: 33s
Weapon: All Sniper Rifles
Comments: Unlike explosive weapons in Runway GoldenEye game multiplayer, non exposives provide a glitch free experience. We use the single screen multiplayer method which adds to the stealth feel. Read about single screen multiplayer here. Oh, daisy chain is when 3 or more players are involved in a sequence that is like falling dominos.

Title: The Perfect Weapon
Length: 35s
Weapon: Throwing Knives
Comments: We absolutely love Throwing Knives, but only in the Basement. It is a blast and you must try it! It's the corridors that make it work and the Train is just perfect also. The framerate is very good also so this is an essential GoldenEye game weapon to use!

LONG

Title: Shreddies
Length: 29s
Weapon: All GL's
Comments: A bit of glitch with the explosions we like to call "shreddies". In case you were wondering Shreddies are a breakfast cereal that have a wafer look to them. Overall framerate is decent in Runway with 4 players. I would recommend using a non explosive weapon if you aren't into the shreddies glitch.

Title: GoldenEye game 4 Players in the Train
Length: 46s
Weapon: All Shotguns
Comments: Considering this is 4 player, the framerate holds pretty good. Not that much different that the original levels in multiplayer. All shotguns is one of the most draining combo's on the framerate because of all the calculations with the shot pellets. Of course this is a Gameshark only creation!

Title: Stylish
Length: 10s
Weapon: Golden Gun
Comments: Sometime when you watch footage you have to ask yourself, what were they thinking? Case in point. This isn't license to kill so what the hell was Ivan looking for in that room? Bad decision. I suppose we will never know the reasons why. Another classic kill by the man Jay. Notice the juicy use of the scope without even moving it. The cherry on the top has to be the breaking glass. His opponent was shattered after this one don't you think? Ivan didn't do well in this tournament.

Title: Fluky Styles!
Length: 13s
Weapon: Golden Gun
Comments: You will want to be watching Player 1 for the kill in this one. Sort of a strafing shot in the dark type kill. I'm sure that Dana would claim that it was all skill however. If you watch closely, you will see that Player 2 gets "stuck on a poly" which stops him dead in his tracks. Don't you just love the sounds of canisters exploding?

Title: Where's the ammo? Who the hell needs it anyways!
Length: 22s
Weapon: Automatics
Comments: Lawrence is Player 1 and Jay is Player 2 in this tournament clip. Jay was one of the best players for sure. Great at scoring headshots. Anyways, watch player 2 as his ammo runs out during the battle. Check out how this one finishes! With only a single bullet remaining, Jay lands the juicy headshot for the kill. Oh yes what a piece of work that was.

Title: GoldenEye game Futile
Length: 3m
Weapon: Grenade Launchers
Comments: This is Lawrence (top) vs Dave (bottom) from the GoldenEye game tournament in 2000. Dave always played GoldenEye with the C Look buttons UP/DOWN in reverse. Unfortunately during the tournament he wasn't able to use his familiar setting. The result? An inability to aim properly as you're about to see. If you can only imagine Daves frustration in this clip. I was watching this a couple years agoand laughing at the futile battle that took place. The rules in the tournament require 2 kills in a 5 minute match. Sadly this game finished with only 1 kill. They had to play it over! Notice at the end how close Player 1 was to dying. A final standoff with Dave using the Klobb and his opponent using the KF-7. Dave had his opponent down to a half bar of life when he runs away without realizing that even his Klobb would have done the job. I talked with Dave about his strategy. Keep picking up the Grenade Launcher and Armor! Watch the last 3 minutes with Dave up to an early 1-0 score.

Length: 1m35s
Weapon: Rockets
Comments: This is in my opinion, the greatest GoldenEye game
GameShark achievement to date. You can credit
LONG   Wreck7 for this piece of work. In this video
you can see the entire layout of the level.
The only thing missing is the bottling tanks
in the back room. Door and glass, it's all
here. If you don't own a GameShark, why not
do it now? This gives you an idea what's
    actually possible. Amazing.

nintendo 64 Title: GoldenEye game Lucky Shot!
Length: 3s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Jay/Graham
  Weapon: Golden Gun
SHORT Comments: What are the chances of this happening you ask?
No this isn't a glitch, a bullet does in fact
shoot through the flooring! If you want to see
how this happens, then check out CAVERNS TIP #1.
Jay claimed at the time that this was a glitch
kill but in fact it wasn't. This was the third
or fourth overtime game in a tournament so this
was simply a huge kill at the time.

Title: Threading The Needle
Length: 4s/11s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Dana/Chris
  Weapon: Grenade Launchers
SHORT Comments: A great chase sequence here where P1 get a bit
aggressive of just underestimates the skill of
LONG   his opponent. A quick turnaround shot that you
might consider a bit of a table turner because
P1 let him get away to the special weapon.

Title: Bank Shot
Length: 4s
Bookmark: P1
Players: Dana/David
  Weapon: Grenade Launchers
SHORT Comments: Just in case you've ever wondered where your
bank shot ends up in the bathroom, check this
out. From this example you know if an opponent
is in range or out of range for this type of
    kill.

Title: GoldenEye game Marksmanship
Length: 2s/5s
Bookmark: P1
Players: Dana/David
  Weapon: Golden Gun
SHORT Comments: A quick but accurate trigger finger is essential
with the Golden Gun. Here is an example of a
LONG   perfect patience while using the scope to kill a
retreating opponent. You can almost taste the
gut wrench of the retreating player, realizing
that they are just about to make a getaway up
    the stairs!

Title: GoldenEye game Glitchy Styles
Length: 2s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Dave/Chris
  Weapon: Golden Gun
SHORT Comments: Kind of a shitty way to be killed. The ultimate
cost for this glitch is right here while using
a Golden Gun. Still, nice shot!

Title: Caught From Below
Length: 10s
Bookmark: P1
Players: Graham/Dana
  Weapon: Rockets
SHORT Comments: Dana admits he knew what was coming in this
sequence. None the less I'm pretty happy about
making this upstairs/downstairs kill. From a
terminology perspective, this is a great
example of an GoldenEye game oven burner.

Title: Spectacular GoldenEye game Bankshot
Length: 4s
Bookmark: P1
Players: Jay/Chris
  Weapon: Grenade Launchers
SHORT Comments: The GoldenEye game Complex offers many opportunities for
juicy bankshots such as this. If you've taken
the time to mess around with bankshots in this
level then you know there are many other
    opportunities such as this one.

Title: Caught From Above
Length: 3s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Lawrence/Jay

    the

Title: Conservationalist Award
Length: 9s/22s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Lawrence/Jay
  Weapon: Automatics
SHORT Comments: This is definitely worth a laugh. Talk about
toying with an opponent. Jay can't quite
LONG   finish off the job with the automatic so he
uses a pistol with his last bullet! Notice
the style and confidence by scoring a headshot!

Title: Great Shot
Length: 4s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Lee/Jay
  Weapon: Rockets
SHORT Comments: It's just nice to see a GoldenEye game Rocket take out a
running opponent. Especially one that thinks
they've made the getaway. Close but no cigar
    in this instance.

Title: GoldenEye game Door Jammer
Length: 5s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Graham/Pat/Dana
  Weapon: All Shotguns
SHORT Comments: This clip is more humorous than anything.
Maybe not that special but it's always great
to see your fallen opponent holding a door open.
Sound must be on to appreciate the closing door!

Title: Crotch Shot
Length: 4s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Unknown
  Weapon: Explosives
SHORT Comments: For starters, check out the great head shot
which colors red after the hit. Then the
humiliation of the crotch shot to end the
sequence. I find this funny as hell!

n64-goldeneye Title: White Hot
Length: 5s
Bookmark: P1
Players: Unknown
  Weapon: All Rockets
SHORT Comments: This is just uncommon cinema. The killed player
seems to shimmer from the heat. Check out the
silhouette as the player is the same colour as
the flame. It dances! Strange one for sure.

goldeneye Title: GoldenEye game Marksmanship
Length: 2s
Bookmark: P2
Players: Unknown
  Weapon: Golden Gun Fun
SHORT Comments: Not to brag, but this is me!! This shot was
made during a multi-tv single screen game, so
there wasn't setup time. Spot the player,
scope up, fire, kill. A moving target and from
    the slope for added difficulty.
